Shandong Glass Bottle Recycling Plant
—Semi-Dry Recycling Line
The Customer: A glass bottle recycling plant in Shandong, China, faced challenges in processing a large amount of mixed glass waste. The goal was to remove color variations and impurities from the glass, including stones, ceramics, tiles, metals, and other contaminants. They needed an efficient method to sort these glass fragments to increase recycling rates and reduce processing costs.
The Challenge: The challenge lay in finding a method for recycling crushed glass that met the customer's high-quality requirements without causing significant losses. It was essential to meet three key requirements:
① Maximum feed capacity greater than 30 tons/hour (high throughput of raw materials).
② Extremely high product purity (within the particle range of 5 mm and above).
③ Almost lossless sorting (very low carryout).
The Solution: We provided a turnkey project for a semi-dry recycling line that eliminates the need for water washing and drying, significantly reducing costs. The core equipment included the AC1200 optical sorter, equipped with advanced optical classification technology capable of accurately identifying different types of glass fragments and impurities. By setting appropriate sorting parameters, the customer efficiently sorted glass fragments of different colors, removed impurities, thereby increasing recycling rates, and reducing waste processing costs.
The Result: The recycling plant successfully increased the glass recycling rate, achieving a more sustainable production process. They not only reduced waste processing expenses but also made a significant contribution to environmental conservation.
